Signals

A place for artwork updates, process notes, thoughts, fragments, photography discoveries, and quiet transmissions from behind the work. Not every entry needs to be a full article. Some are just signals worth keeping.

Explore Cherokee Park | Louisville Places

Cherokee Park is one of Louisville's most recognizable public spaces — a place of winding roads, wooded trails, open fields, and everyday exploration.

This page combines local history, photography, visitor information, personal observations, and an Observer Route documenting a walk through the park.

I've been visiting Cherokee Park for years. It's one of those places that changes with every season while somehow remaining familiar.

Time Travel

Time Travel began as an exploration of clocks, memory, and the strange feeling that moments never completely disappear.

This timelapse follows the artwork as it develops inside Infinite Painter, layer by layer, symbols, and fragments of time gradually emerge from the canvas.

I've always been fascinated by the idea that we are all moving through time together while experiencing it differently. Every photograph, memory, and story becomes a fragment carried forward.

This piece became less about machines and more about perspective — a reminder that every moment is already becoming part of the archive.

Fragments: Build Free Browser Tools with ChatGPT

These tools run directly in your browser using simple HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No installations. No subscriptions. No cloud processing required.

The workflow is intentionally simple:
• ChatGPT
• Notepad (or any text editor)
• A browser
• Save as .html
• Open locally on your computer

Most tools in this series run entirely on your own machine after opening the HTML file. Images are processed in-browser where possible.

No AI text-to-image generation is used in these builds. The focus is creating useful browser tools, creative utilities, and small ecosystems people can own, edit, archive, and keep.

Spring Signal: Blanket Flowers in the Sun

I saw these blanket flowers blooming out front on a sunny spring day — bright reds, oranges, and yellows opening against the green around them.

They felt like a small signal from the season: simple, vivid, and easy to miss if I had walked past too quickly. A quiet reminder that color still finds its way through ordinary places.

Tropical Portal

A tropical form begins to emerge — part sun, part portal, part something harder to name.

This timelapse shows the piece developing inside Infinite Painter, building layer by layer as simple shapes evolve into something more symbolic — a meeting point of nature, energy, and observation.

I’ve been exploring these recurring forms lately — circular structures, organic growth, and that sense of something watching without intrusion.

This is one of those pieces where the meaning didn’t fully reveal itself until it was already there.

Young Mechwarrior

This piece started as a pencil drawing, originally inspired by a character from an old MechWarrior role-playing book. I never really played those games, but the artwork stuck with me and became its own kind of reference point.

A friend once photocopied my drawing and rearranged it, and seeing it that way changed how I looked at my own work. It introduced a different perspective — something familiar, but slightly shifted.

This timelapse shows the piece being rebuilt digitally in Infinite Painter, layering color and form over the original structure while letting it evolve into something new.

A mix of memory, reinterpretation, and observation.
